Today’s workout and finding a dog a home
Heavy front squats: warm up with some light front squats, and then get the bar to about 50% of your back squats and see how easy it is for a triple. From there, find a weight that would be fairly taxing for triple, but then attempt 8 sets of them.
Heavy KB swings (or DB). if it scares you, the that might be the right weight. Aim for 4 sets of 5, with as much hip snap as you can give.
Lateral single leg step ups/sled drag/farmer’s walk. With a box to your side, put one leg on it and squat. For added fun, press some weight in the opposite arm. then take the sled around for 200 feet (2 laps at Bodytribe) followed by 100 foot farmer’s walk.
hanging leg raises for a bonus ending.

Lateral Step Ups with and without added weight.

Help us find a home for ‘Buddy Boy.’ A beautiful white fluffy puppy found running free at Feather Falls, sans tags or collar. He is the calmest, nicest big beastie of a dog you could ever want. Rides in cars well, hardly ever barks, and totally potty trained. Dog friendly, people friendly (a little excitable around cats) and flufffffffy. Email me if interested in info (chip@bodytribe.com).

Buddy Boy needs a home. Bodytribe puppy Lulu fell totally in love with him.
