Since no one but Scott Bird reads this forum (who has a far more informative website that can be found here: http://www.straighttothebar.com/) no one should be overly offended by my topical title.

Whatever else you do today, follow it up with this brutal combo (this works especially great after some max effort bench pressing):

Push Press/Burpees

10 reps each, 5 times through.  Time it.

We’ve going about 95 pounds for guys/45-60 for women.

Tips:  Psychologically it seems a good idea to not pause between exercises.  During the exercise, if you’re dying, take a break, but after the 10th one, go right to the next exercise without a break, even if you can only do one.  Then keep repeating the mantra ‘one at a time.’

Times have range from just under 9 minutes to about 19 minutes.

  • Yeah, apparently there is a great big world of physical culture and strength blogs that I’m slowly discovering. We do need to network everyone together somehow….
